Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated Vice Chair of Quality to advance patient outcomes through safe, timely and efficient care. You will lead quality initiatives, chair key councils, and partner across the institution to drive performance.

The ideal candidate is board-certified in Internal Medicine or subspecialty with leadership in healthcare quality, combining clinical, administrative and academic duties in a flexible role.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and/or subspecialty.
• At least 3 years of post-residency leadership in quality and safety.
• Strong record of quality improvement work and publications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and lead quality initiatives across the Department of Medicine.
• Chair the Quality Council and Peer Review Committee; oversee OPPE/FPPE.
• Develop dashboards to monitor quality and safety; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Patient Experience to enhance care and outcomes.
• Provide education and mentorship in quality improvement; promote scholarly activity.
