Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Sr Director of Operations Engineering to lead the enterprise Operations Engineering function.

You will oversee New Product Launches, Operations Integrations, Product Moves and Transfers, and develop enterprise standards with the Generac Fulfillment System (GFS). You will partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, HR, and senior leadership to ensure safe, on-time, high-quality launches at target cost across the global manufacturing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial tech.
• 10+ years in operations/production engineering with launches and transfers.
• 5+ years leading teams or projects in multi-site settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Launches (NPI) within operations and ensure readiness.
• Oversee operations integrations across sites and acquisitions.
• Manage product moves, transfers, and capacity planning.
• Develop enterprise operations standards and GFS implementation.
• Drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Operations Engineering team.
