Job summary

Easterseals Hawaii seeks a Director of Development to lead donor acquisition, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for high-net-worth gifts. You will manage budgets, coordinate cross-functional teams, and expand partnerships with corporations and foundations across Oahu and neighboring islands.

The role requires strategic leadership in events, proposal development, and revenue growth, with travel as needed to engage donors and drive mission priorities.

Qualifications

• 9 years in business development and fundraising, including annual giving, prospecting, cultivation, stewardship practices and working with Board members.
• Demonstrated results in identifying, cultivating, closing and stewarding $6-7+ figure gifts.
• Experience using moves management or equivalent donor cycle system.

Responsibilities

• Engage in all aspects of the donor development cycle from identification to stewardship.
• Lead fundraising events, donor cultivation experiences, and sponsorship activations with budgets and revenue goals.
• Manage the Easterseals Hawaii development budget with revenue forecasting and expense tracking.
• Coordinate Catalight personnel to meet funded program objectives and donor expectations.
• Travel to multiple sites and meet donors to drive regional engagement.
