  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple initiatives.
  • SHRM/PHR/SPHR or related certification preferred.

Senior Director of Global Human Resources

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, transitioning to 4 days onsite)

Reports To: Chief People Officer.

About the Opportunity

Redda Group is partnering with a globally recognized professional services organization to identify a strategic and hands‑on Senior Director of Global Human Resources. This leadership role will be responsible for driving key people initiatives across talent management, employee relations, compensation, leadership development, and HR operations.

Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this individual will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership while helping shape and execute the organization’s people strategy. The role offers the opportunity to influence organizational effectiveness, develop talent programs, and support a high‑performing, growth‑oriented workforce.

The position is based in Washington, DC, and follows a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Management & Organizational Development
  • Partner with leadership to assess future talent needs and implement workforce planning strategies.
  • Lead performance management processes and drive initiatives that support employee growth and development.
  • Utilize workforce analytics and key HR metrics to identify organizational trends, skills gaps, and talent opportunities.
  • Design and implement career development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and leaders on employee development and team effectiveness.
  • Recommend and support training and leadership development programs.
Employee Relations
  • Manage complex employee relations matters and provide strategic guidance to leadership.
  • Conduct investigations, fact‑finding activities, and performance management consultations when needed.
  • Partner with leadership on employee engagement and morale initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment policies and applicable regulations.
Compensation & HR Programs
  • Lead compensation administration, including annual merit and bonus planning processes.
  • Conduct compensation analysis, benchmarking, salary recommendations, and market evaluations.
  • Support salary planning, budgeting, and compensation program administration.
  • Partner with recruiting and business leaders to review and update job descriptions and organizational structures.
HR Operations & Leadership
  • Oversee HR operational programs and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and develop HR team members while supporting the expansion of the HR function.
  • Drive HR projects from design through implementation and execution.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and employee development.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure HR programs align with organizational objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience within a law firm, legal services organization, or other legal industry environment is required.
  • Strong experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, and leadership coaching.
  • Demonstrated expertise in compensation analysis, benchmarking, and compensation program administration.
  • Experience using HR metrics, workforce analytics, and HRIS platforms to support business decisions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
  • SHRM, PHR, SPHR, or related certification preferred.
