Job summary

Clarivate Analytics US LLC is seeking a Senior Director of Cyber Security to lead enterprise-wide strategy, strengthen security operations, and protect systems, data, and customers across healthcare, life sciences, and regulated environments.

You will partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to advance a risk-based security program, improve control maturity, and support resilience of Clarivate's Life Science business.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
12+ years of cyber security experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated environments.
5+ years leading cyber security teams, programs, or cross-functional initiatives.
Familiarity with HIPAA, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, data integrity principles.
Experience defining enterprise cyber security strategy, roadmaps, controls, and operating models.
Experience overseeing security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, threat monitoring, and cyber risk management.
Working knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CIS Controls, or similar frameworks.
Ability to translate cyber risk and metrics into clear leadership recommendations.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the cyber security strategy, roadmap, and operating model to reduce enterprise risk and strengthen security posture.
Lead cyber security programs across security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, security engineering, governance, risk, and compliance.
Embed security requirements into products, platforms, processes, and vendor relationships in partnership with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and Procurement.
Oversee monitoring, escalation, investigation, and response processes for security incidents with internal and external coordination.
Improve security controls, policies, standards, procedures, dashboards, metrics, and reporting.
Identify threats, gaps, and remediation priorities in collaboration with technology and product teams.
Support audits, certifications, customer assurance, and regulatory activities with measurable practices.
Build and lead a high-performing cyber security team with resource planning and coaching.
Communicate cyber risk and program performance to executives and leadership.
