Lee Health Foundation in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a strategic fundraising professional to lead major gifts and planned giving initiatives.

You will manage a portfolio of 125-150 donors, develop solicitation plans for gifts of $25,000+, and collaborate with senior leadership, physicians, volunteers, and advisors to maximize philanthropy. The role requires a track record in nonprofit development and a CFRE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in development and fundraising in a nonprofit organization.
• Experience soliciting major or planned gifts preferred.
• CFRE certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Foundation's planned giving program, including marketing, advisor engagement, donor stewardship and internal training.
• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors to Lee Health.

Summary

Make a lasting impact through meaningful philanthropy. Lead planned giving and inspire major donors to shape the future of healthcare in Southwest Florida through the Lee Health Foundation.

Responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors to Lee Health. Simultaneously manages portfolio of 125-150 prospects and donors, prepares and executes solicitation strategy plans for each including working with senior hospital leadership, physicians, board members, volunteers, or professional legal and financial advisors, to solicit gifts of $25,000 or more for established strategic philanthropic priorities. Works in a metrics and goal driven environment requiring a minimum of face-to-face visits with donors, dollar goals, and works effectively with other members of the Foundation team on identifying, cultivating and stewarding major donors.

Leads the Foundations planned giving program, including marketing, advisor engagement, donor stewardship and internal training.

Requirements

Education: Bachelors Degree Required. Masters preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years successful experience in development and fundraising in a non-profit organization. Experience soliciting major or planned gifts preferred.

Certification: Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) preferred.
