Job summary

DAHLIN is seeking a Director of Client Development for Northern California to act as market ambassador for the multifamily sector, expanding the client portfolio and driving revenue growth through strategic relationships and leadership.

In this hybrid role, you will develop market strategies, lead pursuit efforts, and serve as trusted advisor from initial relationship through project execution, partnering with leadership and marketing to position DAHLIN as a market leader in Northern California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, license preferred.
• 15+ years in architecture with multifamily focus.
• 10+ years in business development.
• Proven success securing multifamily projects via client relationships.
• Experience in Northern California regulatory environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Northern California BD strategy.
• Leverage network to generate client relationships and opportunities.
• Lead multifamily housing pursuits and Go/No-Go decisions.
• Build executive-level client meetings and advisory relationships.
• Partner with Marketing and technical teams to position DAHLIN competitively.
• Monitor market trends and mentor staff in BD.
