Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Senior Business Development Director to drive strategic sales across our Global Sparks portfolio, with a focus on creative and fabrication services. You will manage a multi-market pipeline, lead proposals, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to win opportunities and close deals.

Based in the United States with hybrid work options 2–3 days in-office, preferably in major markets including San Francisco, CA.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of senior sales management experience in event marketing, exhibits, experiential, or agency environments.
• Proven track record of building brand awareness and closing new business.
• Must be willing to consistently cold call and proactively solicit new business.
• Experience with Salesforce or willingness to learn Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Learn Sparks’ complete portfolio and present offerings with emphasis on professional services, events, conferences, activations and exhibits.
• Develop sales plans tailored to identified target accounts.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve Go-To-Market processes.
• Pursue target accounts, evaluate opportunities, build relationships, and drive proposals.
• Record all contact and activity in Salesforce and provide weekly reports.
• Ensure smooth handover to account teams after onboarding.
