Job summary

KBR, Inc. in New York is seeking a Sr Director, Program Management for a hybrid role overseeing a large NASA communications contract.

You will lead execution of task orders, manage distributed teams, and serve as the primary NASA liaison to ensure safe, reliable mission services. This senior position requires 15+ years of program management (or 12+ with master's), TS clearance, and experience with government contracts above $200M annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 15 years of related experience, OR master’s degree and 12 years.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers, aerospace or PM.
• 10+ years leading tasks on schedule, cost, and requirements as a PM.
• 10+ years leading teams to achieve common goals.
• Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI within 1 year.
• Experience with O&M contracts >$200M annually and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of task orders to ensure safe, reliable, secure, and uninterrupted communications and navigation services.
• Manage personnel across distributed operations, engineering, cybersecurity, logistics, and modernization teams.
• Serve as the senior customer-facing program leader for NASA and government stakeholders.
• Drive transition from legacy operations to an integrated Network operating model.
• Oversee network management functions and continuous improvement across assets.
• Ensure operational performance with transparent reporting to NASA and KBR leadership.
• Chair or oversee governance forums, risk management, and performance reviews.
• Lead cost, schedule, technical, staffing, and financial performance for task orders.
• Onboard commercial providers and new missions into operational baselines.
• Ensure deliverables, schedules, reports, and briefings are accurate and timely.
• Recruit, coach, certify, and retain a mission-focused 24x7 workforce.
