Nextpower seeks a Senior Director of Manufacturing to lead a multi-site factory network, owning reliability, quality, and performance for utility-scale solar and energy storage inverters. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related technical discipline.
• 12+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership, incl. 3+ years across multi-site networks.
• Proven hands-on leader directing factories with company teams.
• Experience managing contract manufacturers and governance; CM-in-plant preferred.
• Expert in SPC, Kaizen, and Lean to drive yield, reliability, and cost.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, EHS, planning, testing/validation.
• Highly data-driven with P&L, cost modeling, and capital planning.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean and Kaizen programs, automation, and test-time reduction to improve throughput, quality, and cost, with data-backed verification.
• Partner with Engineering to ensure design-for-manufacturing and rapid engineering changes; champion new manufacturing tech.
• Provide executive-level reporting on manufacturing performance, risks, and investments to GM and leadership.
• Run regular business reviews with contract manufacturers; hold partners accountable for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and CI targets.
• Maintain transparency and control over CM operations through audits, shared data systems, and embedded staff.
• Foster a zero-harm safety culture and ensure EHS compliance across all sites.
