Qualifications

• Fifteen plus years in residential mortgage underwriting.
• Wholesale mortgage lending experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master's or MBA preferred.
• Eight plus years in underwriting management; senior leadership preferred.
• Experience with digital mortgage platforms and automation tools.
• In-depth regulatory and investor knowledge for FHA/VA/conventional loans.
• DE or SAR designation is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting, appraisal, and review operations across channels.
• Drive capacity planning, process improvements, and cost control.
• Build strategic relationships with investors and partners.
• Oversee performance of underwriters, managers, and the scenario desk.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and risk appetite.
