Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in the United States is seeking a Sr. Director Integrated Materials and Process Technologies to lead the materials and process tech development for our metal additive manufacturing platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience developing and deploying manufacturing processes into production, including metal laser powder bed fusion or other AM technologies.
• 3+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering, materials, or process teams in advanced manufacturing.
• Experience deploying materials and processes for certified or demanding serial-production applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the technical roadmap for materials and integrated process technologies across AM platforms.
• Own delivery against milestones balancing velocity with safety, cost, quality and manufacturability.
• Transition new materials from development to validation, qualification and repeatable serial production.
• Establish reviews, validation gates, documentation, process controls, and engineering rigor to scale technologies into production.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and senior contributors in materials and process technology.
• Build capabilities supporting multiple product lines with varied production requirements.
• Partner with manufacturing, hardware, software, supply chain, quality, and commercial teams to align technology with production schedules and customer commitments.
• Drive development of next-gen AM applications, processes, materials, and post-processing for near-term production.
