Qualifications

• MD or MD/Ph.D. required or equivalent in medicine.
• Experience in industry or as senior faculty in academia.
• 3+ years of clinical medicine experience.
• 3-5 years of industry experience in drug development or biomedical research.
• Proven track record in overseeing clinical studies and protocols.
• Strong interpersonal, written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct clinical trials according to development strategies.
• Monitor and manage ongoing or new clinical trials for investigational or marketed drugs.
• Analyze and summarize clinical findings to support safety/efficacy decisions.
• Participate in internal and external research project teams for new compounds.
• Evaluate pre-clinical and translational work for early development plans.
• Develop clinical development strategies for investigational or marketed drugs.
• Support business development assessments of external opportunities.
