Job summary

BJs Wholesale Club is seeking a Senior Director/VP-level strategy leader to advise the Chief Merchant and Merchandising leadership. You will drive multi-year transformation roadmaps, align initiatives with enterprise priorities, and influence senior leaders to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior Director or VP-level leader with significant experience in retail, consumer businesses, or another complex commercial environment.
• Strong preference for experience within Merchandising, Commercial, Strategy, Transformation, Finance, or a related business function.
• Prior management consulting or equivalent strategic problem-solving experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of multi-year transformation roadmaps of the Merchandising strategy and planning process.
• Define project scope, objectives, governance, workstreams, milestones, and decision points.
• Structure ambiguous business problems and develop fact-based recommendations.
• Convene and lead cross-functional teams across Merchandising, Finance, Operations, Membership, Digital, Supply Chain, Analytics, and Technology.
• Establish clear mechanisms for tracking progress against priorities and provide executive reporting.
