Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Director of Global Demand Generation to lead and scale our demand generation engine. You will own the strategy and execution across field marketing, digital demand generation, and integrated marketing campaigns, building pipeline, accelerating deals, and driving measurable revenue impact. This is a leadership role where you will manage a team, define the playbook, and partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and executive leadership to align marketing programs to business goals. You will bring both strategic vision and a bias for execution, comfortable setting direction one moment and diving into campaign performance data the next.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing demand generation team spanning field marketing, digital demand gen, and integrated campaigns.
• Own the global demand generation strategy and be accountable for pipeline contribution, MQL targets, and revenue influence goals.
• Build and manage field marketing programs including regional events, trade shows, executive roundtables, and partner activations.
• Oversee digital demand generation including paid advertising, marketing automation, nurture programs, and web conversion optimization.
• Partner with Sales leadership to align on territory plans, account targeting, pipeline coverage requirements, and sales feedback loops.
• Design and execute integrated, multi‑channel marketing campaigns across paid media, email, content syndication, SEO/SEM, and social.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure campaigns are fueled by sharp messaging, differentiated positioning, and audience‑relevant content.
• Define, track, and report on demand generation KPIs including pipeline sourced, influenced pipeline, CAC, and program ROI.
• Manage agency relationships, vendor partnerships, and the marketing technology stack supporting demand generation.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or integrated marketing roles, with at least 2 years in a people management capacity.
• Proven track record of driving measurable pipeline and revenue impact through marketing programs.
• Experience in enterprise B2B technology or cybersecurity strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. We care more about what you have done than where you went to school.

Requisite experience

• Experience building and scaling a demand generation function within B2B SaaS or enterprise technology, with measurable results in pipeline generation and revenue contribution.
• Strong understanding of pipeline and revenue metrics, with the ability to connect marketing investments and programs to business outcomes.
• Experience leading teams across field marketing, digital demand generation, and integrated campaigns, with the ability to develop talent and drive cross‑functional execution.
• Experience leading demand generation across a diverse product portfolio, including established and early‑stage products, with the ability to tailor strategies to different stages of product maturity.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and present demand generation strategies to senior Sales and Marketing leaders.
• Comprehensive understanding of the demand generation funnel, from brand awareness and lead acquisition through opportunity progression and closed‑won revenue.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships with Sales and other go‑to‑market teams to align priorities and improve business outcomes.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of campaign planning, audience segmentation, performance analysis, and content production.

Preferred Experience

• Experience marketing cybersecurity, identity, or infrastructure software to security and IT buyers.
• Experience scaling demand generation in a high‑growth startup environment, with the ability to optimize resources while delivering pipeline and revenue targets.
• Understanding of how AI is influencing B2B buyer behavior, with experience adapting demand generation strategies and programs accordingly.
• Experience building or managing Account‑Based Marketing (ABM) programs using platforms such as 6sense or Demandbase, with demonstrable results.
