Job summary

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever seek a Managing Director of Development to lead a national major gifts program from the Midwest. You will set strategy, build a donor-centered pipeline, and activate Development Officers to secure gifts of $10,000 and more.

This role requires senior fundraising leadership, collaboration with volunteers, and strong analytics using CRM and Power BI. Expect travel and a competitive salary of $100,000–$120,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or higher; 6+ years nonprofit fundraising with 4+ years in major gift leadership.
• Strong leadership, fundraising, business development track record.
• Strategic thinker with focus on efficiency, timeliness and teamwork.
• Experience with comprehensive fundraising campaigns and donor engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Development Officer Team with coaching, supervision, and evaluation.
• Plan multi-year gift strategies for corporate, foundation, and individual donors.
• Maintain a portfolio of high-net-worth major gift prospects for cultivation and stewardship.
• Collaborate with Senior Leaders to grow a comprehensive major gifts program.
• Develop and implement CRM and data practices, including Power BI analytics.
• Administer program budget, report progress toward goals, and analyze fundraising results.
• Travel as required to foster donor relations and strategy execution.
