Job summary

Jubilee Housing in Washington is seeking a Director of Maintenance Operations to lead the maintenance portfolio, oversee staff, and ensure safe, compliant, and well-maintained properties. You will optimize work orders, preventive maintenance, unit turns, and vendor management while guiding a culture of safety and resident service.

Ideal candidates have seven or more years in multifamily facilities, strong leadership, and hands-on knowledge of building systems.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressively responsible experience in multifamily property maintenance, facilities management, or related field.
• - Supervisory or management experience leading maintenance teams.
• - Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise maintenance staff and coordinate day-to-day operations.
• Oversee work orders, preventive maintenance, unit turns, inspections, and life-safety systems.
• Manage vendors, contracts, and procurement; lead capital projects and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and enforce safety standards, reporting, and performance dashboards.
• Collaborate with Property Management leadership to align priorities and budgets.
