  • Minimum 5-7 years of actuarial experience with actuarial credentials (FSA or ASA with additional years of experience).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience with assumption development or life pricing/product development.
  • Analytical skills: ability to think critically, identify, and solve potential challenges independently.
  • Ability to synthesize large volumes of data to extract insights and identify data anomalies.
  • Hands on SQL, Python or any other programming languages preferred.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

What we’re looking for

Must have

  • Minimum 5-7years of actuarial experience with actuarial credentials (FSA or ASA with additional years of experience)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience with assumption development or life pricing/product development
  • Analytical skills: ability to think critically, identify, and solve potential challenges independently
  • Ability to synthesize large volumes of data to extract insights and identify data anomalies
  • Hands on SQL, Python or any other programming languages preferred
  • Ability to bring innovative thinking to improve current processes
  • Priority setting, time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (ex., Tableau, Power BI)

Nice to Have

  • Life product knowledge, general insurance/business knowledge, and experience studies and/or data management experience
  • Experience leading a small team
  • Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, Dask) for large-scale data processing
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git, GitLab, GitHub)
  • Exposure to predictive analytics

The pay range for this position is$152,250 - $243,600with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
