Job summary

Oklahoma City University seeks an experienced development leader to spearhead fundraising for the School of Law, engaging alumni, donors, attorneys, foundations, and community leaders to advance the law school's mission in Oklahoma's legal community. As Sr.

Director of Development for Law, you will partner with the Dean and Law leadership, directing fundraising priorities and ensuring engagement aligns with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of fundraising, development, donor relations, sales, or related field.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
• Familiarity with handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Building and managing relationships with alumni, donors, corporations, foundations, and community partners.
• Conducting donor visits and developing strategies to advance relationships toward philanthropic support.
• Identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift prospects.
• Collaborating with the Dean, faculty, and university leadership on fundraising priorities and initiatives.
• Developing proposals, gift agreements, and donor communications.
• Planning and executing regional and national travel to engage alumni and prospective donors.
• Maintaining accurate donor records and activity reports within the CRM.
• Representing the School of Law and Oklahoma City University at events and donor engagements.
