Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Director, Laboratory Operations Management to lead clinical laboratory operations across multiple teams and departments within a large healthcare environment.

You will oversee laboratory leaders, quality, compliance, accreditation, staffing, and operational performance while guiding strategic initiatives and ensuring CAP/CLIA accreditation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of healthcare/laboratory leadership experience.
• Experience leading managers or other leaders.
• Clinical laboratory operations and bench work experience.
• Strong CAP/CLIA accreditation experience.
• Proficiency testing oversight experience.
• Experience managing credentialed medical laboratory staff.
• Experience with laboratory test methodology evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratory managers and multiple clinical laboratory teams.
• Oversee daily laboratory operations, staffing, budgets, and performance.
• Manage CAP/CLIA accreditation and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee proficiency testing, quality assurance, and process improvement.
• Maintain clinical laboratory testing competency and training standards.
• Evaluate laboratory testing methodologies, processes, and technology.
• Partner with labor management, healthcare teams, and public health agencies.
• Lead regional and national laboratory initiatives and strategic projects.
