Job summary

Deckers Brands seeks a Sr. Director of Product Development & Engineering – HOKA Innovation in Portland. Lead engineering, product development, and advanced technology creation for footwear and apparel concepts, partnering with global teams and external vendors to shape the future of HOKA products.

You will drive strategy, manage a senior technical team, and champion test methods and bespoke research while fostering a culture of learning and collaboration across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in footwear and/or apparel product development within a global organization.
• 4+ years of people leadership experience, managing and developing technical teams and/or cross‑functional programs.
• Proven track record of delivering innovative product and technology outcomes in innovation or inline development environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead an industry-class innovation engineering and development organization, setting the standard for product build and proactive problem solving.
• Oversee advanced technology roadmaps and project portfolios aligned with business needs.
• Build and manage the Portland Maker Space to accelerate rapid prototyping and creative exploration.
