Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a Lead Product Developer for HOKA Innovation in Portland, OR. You will shape the next generation of athletic footwear, translating athlete needs into advanced concepts and performance-validated prototypes.

You will lead a team, manage global development, and drive rapid prototyping with hands-on collaboration across sourcing and product teams. You will guide cross-functional teams, define project plans, and communicate milestones to ensure athlete performance targets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• Masters/MBA/PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate athlete needs into advanced product opportunities from ideation to prototypes.
• Lead breakthrough concept development with cross-functional teams.
• Define project plans, hypotheses, and success criteria for performance targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to explore new materials and constructions.
• Drive rapid prototyping and testing to meet milestones and market needs.
• Mentor team members and partner with Asia sourcing teams and vendors.
