Job summary

Workday seeks an extraordinarily skilled leader to build out and lead our content engineering and operations functions, and to develop a comprehensive content and knowledge management strategy. This role will lead the Content Engineering team to improve core functions of the existing platform while designing the platform of the future.

You will work with community, localization and content leaders, product managers, engineering leads, DevOps, UI/UX, and stakeholders to set technical direction

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years management experience leading engineering and/or content management teams and leading managers.
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with content publishing platforms, processes, strategies, and industry trends, especially with technical documentation and structured content.
• Strong technical skills and experience related to enterprise application development, cloud services, and content management systems.

Responsibilities

• Build out and lead our content engineering and operations functions, and to develop a comprehensive content and knowledge management strategy, including leading all aspects of content production for Workday’s technical, customer-facing content.
• Lead the Content Engineering team to improve and enhance core functions of the existing platform system, while designing and building the platform of the future.
• Work alongside community, localization and content leaders, product managers, engineering leads, DevOps, UI/UX, and internal/external stakeholders to set technical direction and enable teams to do their best work.
• Provide technical judgment as we evolve the current platform, engage and empower your teams.
