Job summary

Precision Neuroscience is seeking a Senior Director of Mechanical Engineering and Surgical hardware to lead implant and surgical hardware efforts across the full product lifecycle in the United States. The role requires ensuring safety, effectiveness, and timely delivery within budget while partnering with R&D, Product, and Clinical teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Class III medical implant development and commercialization
• 5+ years of experience as a director or above
• Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
• Experience in planning and executing Verification and Validation on a Class III implant
• Knowledge and application of medical device development standards and FDA guidance
• Experience in fast-paced, interdisciplinary engineering teams
• Experience collaborating with Quality and Regulatory groups preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Mechanical Engineering and Surgical projects and initiatives across the product lifecycle
• Define implantable device development practices to support timely delivery of device roadmap
• Partner with R&D, Product, and Clinical teams to achieve company objectives
• Review designs and sign-off on development plans for key implant initiatives and surgical procedures
• Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences to align goals, milestones and risks
• Build and grow a high-performing Mechanical Engineering organization through hiring and team culture

Education

Master’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related field
