Job summary

Dungarvin seeks a Director of IDD Residential Services (Area Director) to oversee all residential programs within the assigned Indiana region. You will provide leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure high-quality person-centered services for individuals with disabilities while driving growth and compliance.

This senior role focuses on leadership development, budget management, licensing, and program performance across sites, collaborating with Area Managers and state

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in residential IDD/DD services, group homes, or community-based programs.
• 2+ years of leadership experience overseeing multiple programs, sites, or leadership teams preferred.
• Understanding of person-centered supports, Medicaid/CIH/HCBS Waiver services, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supportArea Managers and Program Directors across assigned residential programs.
• Build relationships with families, community partners, referral sources, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee residential program operations to ensure compliance with state regulations and HCBS standards.
• Monitor budgets, staffing trends, and program performance to support financial health and growth.
