Job summary

PAGNY, on behalf of NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, seeks a Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine to provide clinical and strategic leadership for the Level III MFM program. The role focuses on high-risk obstetric care, program expansion, and academic development within a safety-net system.

The role requires board certification in both OB/GYN and MFM, NY license eligibility, a minimum of five years in leadership, and a strong track record in quality improvement and research.

Qualifications

• Must hold Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Must hold Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Active or eligible for a New York State Medical License.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within an MFM program.
• Strong track record in clinical excellence, quality improvement, and research in high-risk obstetrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for the high-risk obstetric and MFM program.
• Lead program development and strategic planning to expand MFM services.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives to improve perinatal outcomes.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership on operations, priorities, and growth of perinatal services.
• Oversee and support MFM faculty and their development.
• Provide education and mentorship to obstetric teams and trainees.
• Foster research and academic initiatives in maternal-fetal medicine.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations and public health entities.
• Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration for coordinated care.
• Report to the Chairperson of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
