Senior Director, GTM People Business Partner

We are looking for a seasoned People Business Partner Leader to support the global GTM (Go-To-Market) organization at Gong. Reporting to the VP of HR, you will drive the acceleration of business results and make an immediate impact through your expertise in organizational design, talent management strategy, and leadership coaching, all while acting as a steward of Gong’s culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be a trusted advisor to our CRO and Senior Revenue Leadership team to help them and their teams deliver their best work every single day.
  • Build and execute the GTM people strategy, aligning to both business and People team priorities.
  • Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide people solutions to make GTM teams more effective.
  • Drive planning and implementation of company-wide HR initiatives, such as employee surveys and talent management programs.
  • Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years’ experience in senior HR leadership roles with extensive experience in succession planning, org design, coaching, recognition programs, talent management, communications, and change management.
  • 4+ years experience as a Manager, leading HR professionals.
  • Proven experience influencing and leading transformational change across a global organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with data and insights to drive talent outcomes.
  • #ActNow mentality with experience supporting hyper growth Revenue teams.
  • Experience building org and talent plans to identify and execute against current and future talent needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with various levels of employees, particularly at the leadership level.
  • Functional expertise, altitude of leadership partnering, driving employee engagement, managing employee relations situations, compensation planning, partnering across People team COEs (People ops, recruiting), operating at both high and detail level altitudes
  • Partnering with mgmt team on org design and people manager development, Driving effective performance management processes between managers and SDRs, Supporting integration of new leaders / managers and teams at high growth pace, Leading through difficult/sensitive employee situations
  • Partnering with mgmt team on onboarding, integration, career progression, and performance of managers and AEs, clear + “no sugar” communication and coaching skills
  • Partnering with mgmt team on performance management, coaching/advising Sales leaders on people development and leading through fast growth and change, supporting new manager onboarding/enablement, Gong culture add / values fit
  • Managing change and high growth in Sales teams, driving employee engagement and retention, support with career development and progression of AEs and managers
  • Strategic people team mindset, leadership partnership and presence, championing/driving people programs in the business
  • Experience supporting / developing inclusive, high performing teams, building trust & partnership with senior leaders

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $243,000 - $270,000 USD.

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
