Job Description: Senior Director, Growth at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate

Position Overview: Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, a prestigious global franchise, seeks a Senior Director, Growth. This role is critical for driving strategic growth and retention across our nationwide network of over 150 affiliates, ensuring top-tier brand value, customer experience, and leading impactful projects. The Senior Director will collaborate with leadership to develop growth strategies, manage key customer renewals, promote the Anywhere Winning Behaviors, and lead a high-performing team of Senior Growth Consultants.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, executive presence, and exceptional relationship-building skills to foster growth. The role also involves leading franchise renewals (around 15 annually) and seller strategies (around 10 annually), supporting companies interested in selling or acquiring businesses.

This is a 100% remote position requiring up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership in Growth:
  • Lead affiliate growth and retention initiatives aligned with company goals.
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth, recruiting, mergers & acquisitions, and operational efficiencies.
  • Exhibit influence management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ensure seamless operations and strategic foresight for BHGRE leadership needs.
  • Maintain reporting and relationships with affiliates to foster strong partnerships.
  • Lead a team of senior growth professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Renewals & Seller Strategy:
    • Negotiate and secure affiliate renewals effectively.
    • Lead efforts for companies interested in selling or acquiring, managing budgets and strategies.
    • Oversee activities supporting budget requirements, negotiations, and related negotiations of deals.
    • Coordinate with Franchise Sales to identify acquisition opportunities.
    • Manage VIP experiences for renewing or selling companies to engage with brand offerings.
  • Executive Presence & Brand Leadership:
    • Demonstrate strong executive presence and influence over large audiences.
    • Present confidently at brand events and showcases.
    • Align brand objectives with affiliate goals for mutual success.
    • Encourage active participation in events and training.
    • Travel as needed for relationship building and brand representation.
  • Analytical & Technical Expertise:
    • Utilize advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) to inform strategies.
    Qualifications
    • 10+ years in real estate brokerage operations and strategic planning, with 5+ years in leadership.
    • Strong financial acumen, especially in P&L management and negotiations.
    • Proven leadership in remote team environments, goal-oriented with results focus.
    • Excellent communication, influence, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Reside near a major airport with willingness to travel up to 25%.
    • Tech-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, project management, and web-based tools.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to own initiatives and demonstrate executive potential.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
