Job summary

Vir Biotechnology, Inc. is seeking a Sr Director of Total Rewards and HRIS to lead the global compensation and benefits programs, drive HR analytics initiatives, and oversee HRIS across the function.

This hands-on leader partners with senior leaders to translate strategy into competitive, equitable total rewards programs and ensures alignment with organizational objectives. Located at our San Francisco headquarters, the role requires at least 3 days in the office weekly and a proven track record

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading compensation and benefits teams at a public company.
• Experience in a commercial-stage life sciences organization preferred.
• Deep expertise in executive compensation and presenting to Board of Directors.
• Regulatory, compliance, and legislative knowledge in compensation.
• Strong analytical capabilities and complex reporting experience.
• Executive presence and communication skills at all levels.
• Experience with HRIS systems including UKG.
• Proven ability to build trust and manage vendors and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery, and governance of global compensation and benefits programs.
• Develop HR analytics strategy and provide HRIS oversight.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate strategy into total rewards programs.
• Oversee executive compensation design and benchmarking.
• Lead mobility programs including immigration and relocation.
• Manage a high-performing team across compensation, benefits, and analytics.
