Job summary

ModMed, based in Boca Raton, FL, seeks a Senior Director of PR & External Communications to lead enterprise branding, AI-driven media strategy, and multi-channel communications. This role shifts the function from tactical tasks to a data-driven engine, leveraging AI, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate market position and protect corporate reputation.

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive leadership experience in PR, corporate communications, and brand reputation management.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related business field.
High-growth B2B, healthcare, or enterprise technology industry background required.
Proven track record of operating at a Director or Senior Director level, driving strategy for global or multi-market organizations.
Strong command of modern PR and Marketing technology stacks, including AI-driven PR tools.
Mastered expertise in crisis communication, risk mitigation, and rapid-response media operations.
Experience architecting data-backed social selling, thought leadership, and employee advocacy frameworks.
Exceptional executive presence with experience pitching to C-suite leadership.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing seven-figure PR budgets and multi-agency networks.
Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Architect and execute a comprehensive global PR, executive communications, and corporate reputation strategy.
Lead crisis communications and real-time media monitoring protocols.
Oversee analyst relations with key industry analysts to influence market positioning.
Select and manage top-tier PR agencies and drive high-impact media placements across channels.
Drive multi-channel digital strategy, including social selling and executive LinkedIn programs.
Define corporate social media strategy and integrate PR with SEO and digital properties.
Manage budget and measure PR ROI with modern attribution and SOV metrics.
Lead a team of internal staff and external agency partners.
