Job summary

Qualifications

• 12+ years' experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 10+ with an Advanced degree.
• 5+ years with a PhD.
• Strong financial acumen with modeling, valuation and synergy analysis.
• Experience leading all aspects of a deal, from idea generation to due diligence and negotiations.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Proven track record leading M&A and strategic investments.
• Knowledge of payments/fintech/tech sectors in US and international contexts.

Responsibilities

• Identify industry trends and maintain external partner relationships.
• Source, negotiate, structure, and execute strategic acquisitions globally.
• Lead evaluation and execution of mergers and investments.
• Support growth strategy through mergers, acquisitions, investments and JVs.
• Conduct rigorous analyses including valuation and business-case modeling.
• Collaborate with senior leaders on strategy development and realization.
• Manage deal pipeline and coordinate with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Travel as needed for projects (up to 25%).
