Job summary

Li & Fung is seeking a senior finance leader to partner with executive leadership, drive cost optimization, and align global financial strategy. The role oversees finance, accounting, treasury, FP&A and compliance across locations including New York, Hong Kong and China.

The ideal candidate has 12–15 years in finance with 7–10 years in management, a strong analytical mindset, and excellent stakeholder communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Progressive finance and accounting experience including 12–15 years total.
• 7–10 years in a managerial role.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting, finance, audit, tax, reporting, budgeting.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and proactive work ethic.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across locations including international offices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to develop strategies, optimize costs, mitigate risks and provide insights.
• Support operational leadership with financial analysis and actionable business insights.
• Liaise with Hong Kong headquarters for timely reporting and global alignment.
• Lead finance, accounting, treasury, cash management, financial planning, tax, audit, and compliance functions.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and accounting operations.
• Manage US external relationships with banking and tax consultants.
• Lead the organization's FP&A function.
• Manage credit insurance and risk evaluation.
• Oversee local tax compliance and treasury functions.
• Set strategies for finance transformation and process improvement.
• Lead a multi-location Finance team (New York, Greensboro NC, Hong Kong, Guangzhou).
