Job summary

Vantive is seeking a Senior Director, Global Benefits, Retirement & Mobility to lead the development and execution of our worldwide programs across Americas, EMEA and APAC. The Senior Director, Global Benefits, Retirement & Mobility leads the development and execution of Vantive's global benefits, retirement and mobility strategy across approximately 50 jurisdictions spanning the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Reporting to the VP, Total Rewards, this role serves as the enterprise leader responsible for benefits, retirement and mobility philosophy, governance, financial stewardship, operational excellence, and workforce movement programs. This role will provide strategic leadership for global health and welfare, retirement, deferred compensation, and mobility programs through a team of regional and functional subject matter experts, ensuring a consistent governance framework while enabling market-appropriate local solutions.

The Senior Director partners closely with leadership, HR, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and business leaders to ensure programs support talent attraction, retention, employee experience, workforce mobility, and organizational growth. This role provides leadership to a global network of benefits and mobility professionals and is accountable for ensuring programs remain competitive, compliant, scalable, and aligned with business strategy.

Global Benefits & Mobility
  • Provide strategic oversight and governance for global benefits and mobility programs across all regions while enabling appropriate local market flexibility.
  • Partner with regional Total Rewards leaders to evaluate, design, and implement competitive and sustainable benefit program solutions.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, approval processes, and controls for benefits and mobility programs globally.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the Global Benefits & Mobility team.
  • Develop and oversee Vantive's global mobility strategy, including domestic relocation, international transfers, permanent employee moves, and talent deployment programs.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Compensation, Payroll, Tax, Immigration, Finance, and Legal teams to facilitate employee movement across jurisdictions and support critical talent deployment needs.
  • Establish mobility policies and approval frameworks that balance employee experience, compliance, operational efficiency, and financial stewardship.
  • Maintain market competitiveness through ongoing assessment, benchmarking, and evaluation of benefits and mobility programs.
  • Develop communication strategies and tools that effectively educate and engage employees regarding benefits and mobility offerings.
  • Lead global compliance efforts through effective governance processes, audits, risk management, and maintenance of benefits and mobility data.
  • Oversee vendor strategy, selection, contract negotiations, and ongoing performance management for benefits and mobility service providers.
  • Manage global benefits and mobility program budgets and identify opportunities to optimize program effectiveness and costs.
  • Lead global stakeholder engagement and partnership across regions and functions to drive alignment and execution.
  • Chair the Benefits Administration Committee and provide regular updates and recommendations for leadership.
  • Lead benefits and mobility strategy, due diligence, integration planning, and execution activities associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and business transformations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on benefits and mobility trends, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
Retirement & Deferred Compensation
  • Provide executive oversight for U.S. qualified and non-qualified retirement programs.
  • Establish governance frameworks and fiduciary oversight processes for retirement plans, partnering with Legal, Finance, external advisors, and plan committees to ensure compliance and prudent plan administration.
  • Lead retirement plan design reviews, vendor strategy, and benchmarking initiatives to maintain market competitiveness while balancing cost effectiveness and employee value.
  • Oversee deferred compensation plan administration, participant communications, executive enrollment processes, company contributions, and operational controls.
  • Partner closely with Executive Compensation, Finance, Payroll, Tax, and accounting teams to ensure accurate administration, reporting, funding, and regulatory compliance of retirement and deferred compensation programs.
  • Drive participant engagement and financial wellness initiatives through education, communications, and decision-support tools that improve retirement readiness and understanding of company-sponsored programs.
  • Lead retirement-related due diligence, integration, and harmonization activities associated with acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational transformations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in global benefits and retirement strategy, design, and administration.
  • Experience leading global mobility programs, including domestic relocation, international transfers, permanent employee moves, and mobility governance.
  • 10+ years people leadership experience, including leading global and matrixed teams.
  • Experience operating in a complex multinational organization with deep understanding of how total rewards programs support business strategy and workforce objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of global benefits and retirement regulations, market practices, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience leading benefits, retirement and mobility aspects of mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and organizational transformations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing significant program budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence decision making.
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational change, driving process improvements, and delivering results through both direct and indirect teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to inform recommendations and business decisions.

The estimated base salary for this position is $204,000 - $283,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
