Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
At least 7 years of people management experience
At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture
At least 9 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns
At least 9 years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
At least 9 years of experience in Data architecture
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred)
12+ years in software engineering and solution architecture (preferred)
12+ years in enterprise architecture and design patterns (preferred)
12+ years in web technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript and SPA frameworks) (preferred)
12+ years in distributed HPC and ML systems (preferred)
12+ years in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) (preferred)
12+ years in data architecture (preferred)
12+ years in languages like Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, Scala (preferred)
10+ years in databases and DBMS (preferred)
12+ years in full lifecycle of system development (preferred)
7+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or virtualization (preferred)
12+ years in Networking protocols and integration with third party systems (preferred)
7+ years mentoring senior engineers (preferred)
3+ years leading cross-domain architectural reviews or coding standards (preferred)
Expertise in agentic AI coding tools to solve systemic development challenges (preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and grow multiple teams of product focused software engineers
Shape long-term technical strategy and architecture standards for enterprise platforms
Partner with senior engineering and business leaders to align roadmaps with scalable capabilities
Drive talent strategy, ensuring succession planning and equitable opportunity
Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers
Collaborate with product managers on application capabilities and testing scenarios
Continuously improve software engineering practices
Design, develop, test, implement and support solutions across full-stack tools and technologies
Lead craftsmanship, availability, resilience and scalability of solutions
Stay current with tech trends and mentor the engineering community
Encourage innovation and cross-functional collaboration
Improve velocity across teams
Lead deployment of applications into AWS environments
