Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Five (5) years of related experience, including demonstrated success securing major grants from foundations and corporations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, prospective donors, and campus partners at all levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including advanced expertise in formal proposal and grant writing.
• Positive, collaborative, and service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to relate well to coworkers, peers, and leadership across Institutional Advancement and the University as a whole.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding opportunities aligned with the University’s strategy.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with top foundation and corporate partners.
• Lead development of complex grant applications and proposals.
• Coordinate internal fundraising requests for external solicitations.
• Advise campus partners on funders, timing, and strategy.
• Oversee stewardship with timely impact reporting.
• Act as liaison between Colleges and Institutional Advancement.
• Represent foundation and corporate relations in networks.
