JPMorganChase in the United States is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering to lead Synthetics Prime Finance platforms and related teams. You will drive vision, architecture, and delivery across multiple departments, ensuring modern technology adoption and alignment with business objectives.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, aggressive modernization, and leveraging AI to accelerate programs within a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including leadership of technologists and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with Synthetics (Swaps) platforms.
• Experience with Java, Spring, AWS, cloud platforms and event-driven architectures (Kafka).
• Proven track record modernizing legacy platforms and migrating to cloud-based solutions.
• Experience utilizing AI to accelerate technical project delivery.

Responsabilités

• Provide vision and direction for engineering teams responsible for Synthetics Prime Finance platforms.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Synthetics Prime Brokerage and ensure solutions meet evolving business requirements.
• Lead the modernization of legacy systems and drive adoption of event-driven and modern tech stacks (Java, Spring, AWS, Kafka).
• Demonstrate experience leveraging AI technologies to accelerate delivery and enhance platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations, and vendor partners to deliver scalable, robust solutions.
• Demonstrate end-to-end delivery of large-scale programs with strong ownership and accountability.
• Mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams and foster technical excellence.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of technology solutions aligned with business goals and quality standards.
• Ensure platforms comply with regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements.
