Job summary

Saks Global seeks a highly analytical Director of Financial Reporting to lead US GAAP reporting, technical accounting, and the external audit process for a premier omnichannel luxury retailer. You will drive end-to-end financial statements, maintain controls, and provide strategic insight to executive leadership.

The role requires CPA, 8–10+ years in finance, Big 4 experience, and a track record of leading high‑performing teams in a complex, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• CPA required with a strong GAAP background.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
• 8–10+ years in finance/accounting, with Big 4 or national firm experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures (10-K, 10-Q, MD&A).
• Direct close and consolidation across banners, channels, and subsidiaries.
• Lead technical accounting research and cross-functional implementation.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain SOX controls.
