Job summary

Connect Search, LLC in Morristown, NJ, seeks a senior finance leader to own the financial performance of a large, global manufacturing business unit. You will partner directly with the BU GM and senior leadership, taking full responsibility for performance from revenue through EBITDA.

Responsibilities include leading planning, forecasting, capital allocation, profitability analysis, and strategic decision support, plus building and developing a global finance team in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Bachelors in Finance or Accounting required; MBA preferred.
• P&L ownership from revenue through EBITDA and full business partnership with GM.

Responsibilities

• Own financial performance from revenue through EBITDA.
• Partner with BU GM and senior leadership on planning and strategy.
• Lead annual planning, forecasting, long-range planning and performance management.
• Provide strategic decision support and capital allocation recommendations.
• Develop and lead a global finance team in a matrixed organization.

Job description

Location: Morristown, NJ | Onsite ~4 days/week

We are seeking a senior finance leader to own the financial performance of a large, global manufacturing business unit.

This role will partner directly with the Business Unit GM and senior leadership team, with full responsibility for business performance from revenue through EBITDA, including planning, forecasting, capital allocation, profitability, and strategic decision support.

Key Requirements

• Deep experience within a large, global manufacturing organization
• Experience supporting a complex, multinational business unit or product portfolio
• Full P&L ownership from revenue through EBITDA
• Strong business partnership experience with senior operational leadership
• Broad cross-functional finance experience supporting:
• Manufacturing / Operations
• R&D / Product Development
• Pricing and Margin Management
• Capital Allocation / Investment Decisions
• Supply Chain
• Experience leading annual planning, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance management
• Strong understanding of manufacturing economics, cost structure, margins, and profitability
• Proven ability to lead and develop a global finance team
• Experience operating within a large, matrixed corporate environment

Background

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
• Large-company manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• MBA preferred
• This is a senior business-facing finance leadership role. The strongest candidates will have operated as the primary finance partner to a GM or business unit president within a large, complex global manufacturing organization.
