Saalex Corporation in Lexington Park, MD (hybrid remote/in-office) seeks a Director of Proposal Operations to lead the full proposal lifecycle across DoD and Federal customers. You will direct responses to RFPs, RFIs, OTAs, and other solicitations while partnering with BD and Capture to craft strategies, win themes, and customer-focused messaging.

You're experienced with FAR/DFARS, complex contract vehicles, and leading proposal teams; you will implement enterprise processes, manage schedules,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Federal proposal management experience with at least 5 years leading teams.
• Winning DoD and Federal Government proposals experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS and federal acquisition processes.
• Experience with complex contract vehicles, task orders, and competitive procurements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Experience with proposal management, collaboration, and content management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full proposal lifecycle from planning to submission.
• Direct responses to RFPs, RFIs, OTAs, and other government solicitations.
• Partner with BD and Capture to craft win strategies and messages.
• Establish and maintain enterprise proposal processes, templates, and style guides.
• Manage schedules, resources, color teams, and production across multiple pursuits.
• Lead compliance reviews and various evaluation activities (Pink/Red/Gold Teams, etc.).
• Develop training, succession plans, and mentor proposal staff.
• Maintain content libraries and past-performance repositories.
