Job summary

Dev Technology Group in Arlington, VA seeks a Senior Director to lead a portfolio of cloud-enabled programs supporting mission-critical systems for federal government customers. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 15 years of progressive professional experience with leadership responsibility in federal contracting or related field.
• Experience leading complex federal technology programs and portfolios.
• PMP Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience developing Program Managers and other leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple programs, contracts, and delivery teams simultaneously.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with federal customers and senior stakeholders.
• Strong executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Understanding of cloud, modern software delivery, Agile, DevSecOps, AI, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
• Ability to travel to customer, company, and industry locations as required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required and ability to obtain DHS Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and communicate strategic portfolio vision, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Provide leadership across programs, projects, and delivery teams.
• Translate customer priorities into actionable plans and measurable objectives.
• Ensure alignment with customer missions, contractual commitments, and company goals.
• Identify cross-program patterns, risks, and opportunities; drive continuous improvement.
• Advise executive leadership on portfolio performance and strategic opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted senior partner to federal customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain governance, reporting, metrics, and regular health reviews for the portfolio.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing plans, and financial indicators across the portfolio.
• Lead, mentor, and develop program managers and other leaders.
• Foster inclusive, high-performing teams and effective succession planning.
• Promote cloud, DevSecOps, AI, and modern technology awareness to inform customer recommendations.
