Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Director of Faculty Advancement & Engagement to provide strategic leadership, oversight, and operational management for the department's portfolio. You will partner with the Vice Chair and departmental leaders to align the portfolio with strategic priorities and drive program development across the faculty lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree and at least five years in related program administration or academic affairs.
• Master’s degree preferred; experience partnering with senior leaders is advantageous.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional change initiatives across boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, oversight, and operational management for the Faculty Advancement & Engagement portfolio.
• Partner with the Vice Chair and departmental leaders to align the portfolio with strategic priorities.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and continuously improve programs supporting the faculty lifecycle.
• Establish program goals, measure outcomes, assess impact, and use data-driven insights to enhance program effectiveness.
• Lead programs involving faculty integration, engagement, belonging, wellness, alumni relations, career development, mentorship, leadership development, advancement, recognition, global health engagement, and education.
• Collaborate with School of Medicine, Emory Healthcare, and university partners to leverage resources and advance faculty success strategies.
• Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and professional development for a team of four direct reports.
• Direct strategic planning, program development, and implementation.
• Collaborate with private, government, and international agencies.
• Represent the program in national and international forums.
• Conduct research, design initiatives, write publishable articles and papers, collaborate with others, and design programs.
