Job summary

Kindeva is seeking a Sr. Director of Facilities and Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary team across three St. Louis sites, ensuring compliant and reliable operations for aseptic/sterile drug products.

This executive role drives strategic planning, resource management, and collaboration with partner functions to deliver engineering solutions and robust capital plans. Reporting to the VP & General Manager, the role emphasizes building high-performing teams, maintaining regulatory readiness,

Qualifications

• 15+ years in pharmaceutical engineering, operations and project management.
• 10+ years in a functional leadership role within engineering/maintenance/validation.
• Experience building and developing teams to deliver results.
• Direct experience supporting manufacturing facilities and utility systems in FDA/EMA regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA/EMA) with audit experience.
• Knowledge of commissioning, validation and operation of facilities and utilities for cGMP.
• Experience with single-use technologies preferred.
• GMP facility startup experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set goals for site and function as a member of the Site Leadership Team.
• Provide direction and prioritization for F&E managers; hire, develop employees, and manage performance.
• Monitor tactical execution across engineering groups and communicate issues to stakeholders.
• Set and meet customer commitments including new product introduction timelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve robustness, reliability and operating performance.
• Oversee budgeting and capital investments; plan with key stakeholders.
• Represent Kindeva St. Louis with regulators, customers and service providers.
• Ensure skills-based training, cGMP and safety for department staff.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to promote best practices.
