Job summary

VC Stack in Cambridge, MA is seeking a New Ventures Senior Director responsible for identifying growth opportunities through external partnerships. The role requires 15+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical sectors, alongside expertise in managing seed/series A companies.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in forming and operationalizing seed/series A companies.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and negotiate proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification and evaluation of external growth opportunities.
• Propose external pipeline investments and manage the opportunity.
• Maintain alignment with Research and early Development organizations.

Skills

Experience in biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry

Experience in VC firms

Expertise in identifying innovative external opportunities

Knowledge of biotech operating model

Experience leading multidisciplinary teams

Education

PhD in life sciences or related field
