Job summary

Citizens JMP Securities is seeking an experienced Director of Research Publishing to lead the production, review, supervision, and distribution of equity research. The role emphasizes high-quality, timely reports aligned with regulatory standards and internal controls.

The candidate will oversee editorial reviews, publication workflows, and distribution while maintaining strong FINRA compliance. A BlueMatrix specialist with 10+ years in publishing and supervision is ideal.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Research Publishing (equity) and supervisory roles
• Experience leading publishing operations and review processes
• Strong understanding of publishing workflows, regulatory controls, risk management
• Exceptional editing, proofreading, and presentation standards
• Proven ability to manage high-volume workflows with precision and urgency
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities
• Hands-on experience with BlueMatrix publishing and distribution platform
• BA/BS in English or Journalism preferred
• FINRA Series 24 with Series 16 or 87 licenses required

Responsibilities

• Lead the full publishing lifecycle from editorial review to distribution
• Oversee editing, approval, and publication of company reports and notes
• Ensure compliance with FINRA regulations and internal policies
• Manage publishing systems, distribution, quality standards, and workflows
• Partner with Citizens CM&A platform stakeholders
• Build, manage and coach a high-performing publishing team
