Job summary

CCI & Associates in Houston seeks a Director of Environmental Services to lead the U.S. Division, driving market growth and client relationships while ensuring high-quality, compliant project delivery.

You will balance subcontractor use with internal team development, mentor leaders, and build scalable capabilities to support long-term geographic and revenue growth across oil & gas, utilities, renewables, and other markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive environmental consulting experience.
• Experience across Oil & Gas, pipelines, LNG, utilities, power, renewable energy, carbon capture and storage, industrial development, and water/wastewater.
• Professional credentials (PE, PG, CEP, QEP, PWS, CWB, PMP, CHMM, CEA, CPESC) and ability to sign off where permitted.
• Demonstrated success in securing work, expanding accounts, and developing markets.
• Experience building or scaling a consulting team, service line, office, or practice.
• Experience leading proposals, pricing, negotiations, and contract execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute market, client, service-line, workforce, and division growth strategies.
• Secure new business and expand strategic client relationships.
• Manage multidisciplinary environmental and regulatory projects from pursuit through closeout.
• Coordinate internal specialists, subcontractors, and strategic partners.
• Lead technical review and quality assurance activities.
• Provide professional sign-off where credentials and jurisdiction allow.
• Balance subcontractors with internal team development for long-term growth.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, Biology, Natural Resources, Geology, Environmental Planning, Environmental Management, or related discipline

One or more professional credentials (PE/PG, CEP, QEP, PWS, CWB, CHMM, PMP, etc.)
