Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Senior Director of Technical Program Management to direct enterprise program execution and set planning standards across IT or data organizations. You will lead governance, budgeting, and cross-functional delivery while aligning roadmaps with strategic goals.

The role emphasizes leadership accountability, stakeholder alignment, and a focus on transparent, disciplined execution in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 12+ years in technology project/program management.
• 8+ years in a management capacity.
• PMI/PM certification preferred (PMP, PGMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM I) or equivalent.
• Uses enterprise portfolio tools to communicate status and inform executive decisions.
• Develops and manages enterprise budgets using portfolio tools.
• Leverages agile delivery tools to view and manage backlogs.
• Produces executive-ready presentations and data for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Directs enterprise portfolio and program execution across cross-unit integrations.
• Oversees portfolio governance, prioritization, and performance reporting.
• Establishes portfolio standards, frameworks, and metrics for delivery integrity.
• Manages cross-functional dependency planning to reduce risk.
• Connects strategy, operations, and execution; aligns roadmaps and funding.
• Manages vendor partnerships, contracts, and governance for scope/schedule/finance.
• Leads talent management, performance reviews, and team development.
• Leads large-scale enterprise projects of $100M+.
