Job summary

Tier4 Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Application Development to lead multiple software engineering teams in the design, modernization, and delivery of secure, cloud-enabled enterprise applications. You will oversee a portfolio including HR, Finance, SaaS, custom apps, integrations, workflows, and reporting solutions.

You will partner with business and technology leaders to align solutions with strategic objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering, application development, or technology delivery.
• 5+ years leading high-performing software engineering teams.
• Experience managing enterprise application portfolios including SaaS and integrations.
• Proven success delivering large-scale tech solutions using Agile and cloud technologies.
• Experience in regulated industries with security, compliance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise apps and SaaS platforms.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, testing, deployment and support.
• Partner with stakeholders to define roadmaps, modernization strategies, and investment priorities.
• Promote modern engineering practices: API-first, cloud-native architectures, automated testing, CI/CD.
• Provide leadership for complex technical, operational, and production support challenges.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning across teams.
