Job summary

Uline is seeking a hands-on Director of Distribution Operations to lead from the warehouse floor, coaching managers and frontline staff to achieve accuracy, productivity and safety. You will drive operational excellence and use data-driven insights to meet service goals and same-day shipping.

This role oversees inbound, outbound and supporting functions across a 2.5 million square foot facility in Pennsylvania, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates and a focus on building

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent.
• 10+ years leading high-volume distribution operations with 400+ staff.
• Proven ability to improve productivity, quality and safety through operational leadership.
• Experience using KPIs and WMS to drive performance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the warehouse floor, coaching managers and frontline staff to high levels of accuracy, productivity and safety.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound and supporting departments.
• Coach and develop warehouse managers who lead 500+ employees.
• Drive operational excellence to deliver industry-leading service and same-day shipping.
• Investigate challenges, remove barriers and implement data-driven improvements.
