Job description

What You Will Do:

GFT is seeking a visionary and results-driven Senior Director, Digital Delivery to lead the next evolution of digital project delivery across our enterprise.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this newly created leadership role will serve as the enterprise hub leader for digital delivery-transforming GFT's digital strategy into scalable capabilities, standards, technologies, and operating practices that create measurable value for our clients and our business.

This is an opportunity to help define how a leading infrastructure firm works in an increasingly digital future.

The Senior Director will partner across GFT's businesses and corporate functions to identify common needs, prioritize high-value investments, accelerate adoption, and establish consistent approaches to digital delivery. From common data environments and platform solutions to automation, AI, data, and emerging technologies, this leader will help ensure that innovation translates into better project delivery, stronger business performance, and differentiated value for our clients.

We're looking for a transformational leader who understands that business should drive technology-not the other way around. The successful candidate will combine digital fluency with business acumen, operational discipline, change leadership, and the ability to influence across a complex organization.

What You’ll Be Challenged to Do
  • Lead GFT's enterprise Digital Delivery Hub, establishing strategy, priorities, resources, services, and performance expectations aligned with the CTO's vision and GFT's broader business objectives.
  • Lead GFT's enterprise digital delivery transformation, translating strategy and evolving client needs into scalable capabilities that improve project delivery and create measurable business and client value.
  • Own and prioritize the enterprise digital capability roadmap and backlog, balancing strategic priorities, business needs, client expectations, resource capacity, dependencies, risks, and expected value.
  • Partner with business, technology, operations, sales, and functional leaders to identify shared needs, prioritize high-value opportunities, resolve competing priorities, and accelerate adoption across GFT.
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of reusable enterprise capabilities, including digital delivery standards, specifications, common tools, platform engineering solutions, templates, and Common Data Environment (CDE) architecture.
  • Establish an enterprise service model for digital delivery, including technical guidance, quality enablement, deployment support, specialist resources, capacity planning, and surge support for priority projects and programs.
  • Create governance and performance-management frameworks that establish clear decision rights, prioritization criteria, KPIs, resource allocation, risk and dependency management, executive reporting, and escalation processes.
  • Champion the responsible application of AI, automation, data, digital platforms, and emerging technologies to improve productivity, quality, collaboration, decision-making, and client outcomes.
  • Partner with project and business leadership to identify opportunities where digital capabilities can differentiate GFT in strategic pursuits and enhance the delivery of complex infrastructure programs.
  • Lead change management, communications, training, and enablement strategies that help teams successfully adopt common standards, tools, platforms, and digital delivery practices.
  • Establish meaningful measures of digital performance and value, using data and insights to evaluate adoption, business impact, client outcomes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Build alignment across organizational boundaries, influencing leaders and teams to embrace enterprise solutions while balancing innovation with appropriate governance, security, privacy, compliance, and operational controls.
Education | Experience:
What You Will Bring to Our Firm
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Digital Transformation, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise digital delivery, digital transformation, technology strategy, product or platform management, engineering technology, operations, consulting, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success leading an enterprise digital delivery, technology, product, platform, shared-services, or center-of-excellence function across multiple businesses or operating groups.
  • Proven experience leading complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and translating strategy into measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and prioritize digital capability, technology, or product roadmaps based on enterprise strategy, operational requirements, client needs, expected value, resource capacity, risk, and dependencies.
  • Experience establishing governance and service-delivery models for complex portfolios, including resource allocation, prioritization, risk management, executive reporting, performance measurement, and issue escalation.
  • Strong understanding of modern technology, data, automation, AI, enterprise platforms, cybersecurity, and digital operating models-and how they can be applied to improve business and project performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and operational challenges into practical digital strategies and scalable solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, navigate ambiguity, resolve competing priorities, and drive accountability across complex cross-functional organizations.
  • Strong change-leadership capabilities with demonstrated success driving adoption of new technologies, processes, standards, or operating models.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information, develop clear recommendations, and influence both business and technology leaders.
