United Way Miami is seeking a Senior Director, Development (Initiatives) to build relationships in the community and drive fundraising across corporate, employee, and individual donors. You will develop and maintain initiatives to support health and education outcomes.
You will manage donor portfolios, coordinate cultivation efforts, and guide major gifts strategy to help meet annual revenue goals. Strong communication and CRM skills are essential.
Salary Range: $90,000-$105,000 annually
Hybrid Schedule: 2 days from home and 3 days on-site

As Senior Director, Development (Initiatives), you will develop and build relationships in the community to address the health and human service needs of the community through United Way Miami. Develop and maintain various fundraising initiatives to include corporate, employee, and individual fundraising.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Non‑Profit Management, Public Relations, or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.
Five years’ experience in business development, partnership management, account management, fundraising, volunteer management, or related roles.
Intermediate Word. Beginner Internet Explorer, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Point and Andar.
Public speaking, understanding of people, ability to adapt to changing situations, ability to understand and analyze industry trends, sales ability, computer skills, basic math skills, and negotiation skills. The Spanish language is not a requirement, but helpful.
